It can’t have escaped anyone’s notice in the past few weeks that Prince Harry has a new girl on the scene: stunning Suits actress and humanitarian campaigner Meghan Markle. Unfortunately, due to the hounding of the world’s unrelenting media, it also can’t have gone under anyone’s radar that the Prince was forced to make an unusual statement via Kensington Palace pleading for the world to leave her alone. We can’t help but feel extremely sorry for Harry, especially with all of the lies and speculation that surrounds his every day life, so here we have put together a basic breakdown of Harry’s dating life for you to help separate the truth from the fiction.
1. Meghan Markle (2016 – Present, Official)
Well, it definitely seems like Meghan is a great match for Harry and the way she’s maintained her poise and dignity throughout all the forms of media abuse she’s been subjected to just goes to show her strength of character. We are very much Team Meghan!

2. Ellie Goulding (2016, Rumoured)
For the past few months we had nearly all been convinced that there was something going on with Prince Harry and Ellie Goulding after they were photographed together at the Polo in June. Little did we know, it was an elaborate ruse to throw us off the scent that he’d actually been dating Meghan Markle since May.

3. Jenna Coleman (2016, Rumoured)
Prince Harry should learn to be a bit more careful at the Polo it would seem, as the rumour sparks were sent flying again in June 2016 when he and Victoria actress Jenna Coleman were pictured getting ‘a bit cosy’. Obviously this turned out to be nothing, not least because she announced her relationship with co-star Tom Hughes a few months afterwards.

4. Cressida Bonas (2012-2014, Official)
Although Harry’s relationship with Cressida Bonas was very much confirmed it was kept a secret for a considerable amount of time before they went public, actually going as far back as 2012.

5. Cara Delevingne (2013, Rumoured)
Despite rolling in very similar circles, both times that the media have tried to position Cara and Harry together have been very quickly shot down by Miss Delevingne herself, who at one time went as far as to confirm that she wasn’t even in the vicinity on one of the nights of their ‘supposed flirtations’. Oh well, that puts that one to bed.

6. Mollie King (2012, Half-Confirmed / Half-Rumoured)
After denying it for a very long time, Mollie King (of girl band The Saturdays) finally came around to confessing that she had once been on a date with Harry but that nothing had come from it.

7. Chelsy Davy (2004-2010, Official)
Probably Harry’s most publicised relationship to date, Chelsy Davy was very much an official girlfriend but in the true nature of their age and situation the couple were on-again-off-again for years before finally calling it a day in 2010.

8. Astrid Harbord (2009, Rumoured)
With Astrid Harbord being an incredibly rich socialite it isn’t hard to imagine that she might have had a dalliance with Harry, particularly when they were photographed leaving together after a night out in 2009. However, it’s hard to know if this was officially ‘a thing’ because the pair claimed afterwards to be just friends.

9. Caroline Flack (2009, Rumoured)
In 2009 the rumour mill was rife with speculation about Prince Harry and Caroline Flack (after the media finding out that they were connected in some way). But she was very quick to confirm that there was no romantic link between them, publicly stating that they were just friends.

10. Natalie Pinkham (2003, Rumoured)
Poor Natalie Pinkham suffered the indignity of being photographed back in 2003 with a 19 year-old Prince Harry kissing her cheek and copping a bit of a feel… Despite her best efforts to claim that they were just friends, the picture inevitably went viral wherein she was forced to seek legal action against the newspapers who went ahead with the story.
